"UMT program could help building my confidence in dealing with upper level management. I also acquired much solid-practical managerial skills as well as many business management theories and concepts."

I was responsible for Air Export Operations and had around 100 staff working around the clock in 7 days operations. My department is responsible carriers liaison, export cargo handling, customer solution, flight planning and space buying with carriers.

In this airfreight industry, it was very difficult to schedule myself to study the full-time course. Then, my manager introduced the distance learning program of University of Management and Technology (UMT) to me. The flexible schedule of the program was very suitable for me to study after office time. I can take care of my family as well.

I have been working in Hong Kong Police since I have graduated in Associate Degree in Engineering at HKCC held by Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2006. In order to achieve a higher academic result for further career development, I planned to study a part-time degree course in 2010.

Coincidentally, I meet University of Management and Technology (UMT) BBA Program in an introduction center. The online study platform and the flexible schedule of UMT BBA program really suit my irregular shift pattern. Also, it is easier for me to mange my time among family, work and study. After studying the BBA course, I have a better understanding of business management theories, concepts and practical skills, which are useful in my career life.

Besides, I only spend 11 months to complete the program, that why I will introduce the program to my colleagues and friends if they are interested.
